This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our application that leverages Decentralized Identity (DID) and Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technologies in combination with third-party identity verification services.
During the initial identity verification process, user data is collected by the third-party service provider. This data may include your name, date of birth, government-issued identification documents, and biometric information. We do not store this data on our servers.
After successful verification through the third-party, a Verifiable Credential (VC) is issued to the user. This credential is stored securely on the user's device. We use Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Zero-Knowledge Proofs to allow users to prove aspects of their identity without revealing sensitive underlying data.
The user retains full ownership of their Verifiable Credential. The data used for verification remains with the third-party. Our system does not store or process identifiable user data directly.
We employ industry-standard cryptographic practices and decentralized protocols to ensure secure handling of all identity verifications and proofs. Verifiable Credentials are stored on the user’s device and protected through local encryption mechanisms.
Our application integrates with the third-party for identity verification. We recommend that you review their Privacy Policy to understand how your information is handled by them.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any significant changes will be notified via our platform or email (if applicable).
